How does a nice relaxing vacation sound? With the craziness of 2020 everyone could use an extravagant getaway. And, fans of the hit reality show The Bachelorette can actually go stay where Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams filmed their season. So, looking for a fun place and one where fans can obsess over where these two ladies filmed and fell in love? Or, want to see where Chris Harrison dramatically told them it was their final rose of the night? Look no further than the La Quinta Resort and Spa near Palm Springs, California.
Enjoy this extravagant resort where Clare and Tayshia hung out
The entire La Quinta Resort and Spa was rented out for The Bachelorette to film. There were no other guests except cast, crew and resort staff. And, one may think things could get boring or there could be a lack of privacy filming at one resort. Wrong answer! This resort offers tons of activities and space to get some special one-on-one time.
The resort was built in 1926. It became a hot-spot for celebrities. The website says, “The resort enjoys a successful first season, and word of the luxury escape spreads to Hollywood. Soon Greta Garbo, Clark Gable and Shirley Temple are escaping to La Quinta.”
For those following The Bachelorette filming closely, it’s probably been noticed the season is almost done. So, the resort website has said it is opening up for guests beginning September 3. However, while La Quinta Resort and Spa will be opening up to guests, they will be putting safety measures in place.
Masks are mandatory in public spaces. And, there will be efficient disinfecting taking place. Rest assured the staff will be doing their best to ensure guest safety from the Covid-19 virus.
Activities to do at the resort
There are 41 swimming pools. Yes, that’s right, 41 pools. And, some of these pools are part of a suite so there is privacy. There is a large family pool and also an adult 21 and over pool. And, if there’s a need to get some fitness time, there are even lap pools on site to work on that summer physique. No doubt, the suites with private pools and hot tubs became fantasy suites for dates during this season.
Of course what would a resort be without a spa. Availability may vary during the pandemic. There is also Yoga, a salon, a fitness center and tennis courts.
Plus, golf is a big deal at La Quinta Resort and Spa. The courses on site were designed by golf legends Pete Dye, Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman. There are five beautiful golf courses at the resort and some very high level lessons available for those who want to improve their swing. In fact, their golf courses are listed as GOLF’s Top 100 Best Courses in North America.
While the men are all out golfing, the women can hit the boutiques and shops at La Quinta Resort and Spa. One can find anything they may need at these spectacular shops. Their website says, “Find your next closet must-have, home accents, plus bath and spa products.”
Dining needs available at the resort
Their are also multiple dining options. The website says, “From classic American fare and vintage cocktails, to hand-selected Wagyu beef, our three onsite restaurants offer unforgettable dining options, topped off with live music.” There are options to eat outside, get orders to go and no doubt room service is offered at this exquisite resort.
The La Quinta Resort and Spa has all anyone could ever need to enjoy a relaxing vacation. It will be interesting to see all the creative, fun activities the cast of The Bachelorette did while staying there. It was mandatory for the cast and crew to remain on site during the several weeks of filming.
If you are a big fan of The Bachelorette and are looking for a safe environment to escape reality for a bit, La Quinta Resort and Spa may be a great choice.
